You know what cracks me up? According to behind-the-scenes stuff I've read, back when the BBC was working on restarting the show (2004 into 2005), one of the rules they laid down was the the Doctor should absolutely not be some kind of Victorian gentleman, and they should get as far away from that idea as they could.
And then Matt Smith happened.
(Not to say anything bad about Eccleston, he was awesome and there is too little of him, it's just, y'know, the irony.)
He looks lovely, very "him", with his bowlegs and that posture and the way he holds his glasses. You captured him very well, and your painting is deceptively (elegantly) simple.
